Holotype: MOR 691 — Humerus, ulna, partial radius, proximal and partial medial carpals, wing metacarpal, partial first wing phalanx, right and partial left scapulocoracoids, martial mandible, crushed cervical vertebra, natural impression of another wing phalanx. (Padian, de Ricqlès & Horner, 1995)

Diagnosis: An azhdarchid pterosaur with small adult size (wingspan about 2.5 m) relative to other azhdarchids, and an ulna of equal or greater length than the wing metacarpal. (McGowen, Padian, De Sosa, & Harmon, 2002)
